smalls is a small(yes, literally,) jazz venue located in Greenwich Village, New York which specializes in modern bebop and blues jazz. I created a series of posters and motion ads to showcase the lively atmosphere of the basement club, where vibrant music performances take place. My design was inspired by the classic jazz record aesthetic, and it features floating typography and abstract shapes that aim to create a synesthetic experience, evoking the mood and rhythm of the music.
